A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) is a club established by women shooters for women shooters. Our training program is hosted at hundreds of ranges nationwide and we have virtual and destination events, too! Women and men learn differently. Many times women get more intimidated with firearms than men do. Owning and using any kind of firearm is a tough decision but the worst thing a person can do is own a firearm and be afraid to use it or pick it up or worse yet, feel you can carry a firearm without the proper training.
I like to teach the basics of pistol safety and how to use them properly. If you don’t have the basics, it’s like having a home with a bad foundation. Without a solid foundation, the house is not a strong structure. Without a sound foundation in shooting you will be an unsafe, uncontrolled shooter.
When I instruct, I like to combine skill and experience with good techniques geared specifically toward beginner and intermediate shooters. I want you to have a positive experience so that you can keep growing and improving your skills to become a safe and proficient shooter.
